Based in Chicago, Jimmy Insulin is a completely free service that initiates invaluable connections between diabetes support-seekers and diabetes guides. One-on-one relationships offer a diabetes beginner the opportunity to ask personal questions and receive support from someone who is closely familiar with their experience. In addition to connecting those with diabetes, Jimmy Insulin also links caregivers. A friend or family member who is supporting someone with diabetes is able to benefit from a connection with another caregiver in a similar situation. Jimmy Insulin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Mooncrickets is a collaboration of veteran Chicago area musicians with an average of twenty years' experience under their belts. Drawn together from local bands Bourbon Decay, Groovestation, The Turnstyles, peatmoss, The Falling Wallendas and The Greg Walters Band, the members of Mooncrickets have covered the gamut of Chicago area clubs and festivals, as well as having opened for leading acts such as Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morrissette, The Wallflowers, Wilco, and del Amitri. Their collective touring experience has taken them extensively throughout the Midwest, reaching both coasts and internationally to Ireland, Germany, and Austria.
